Elegant White & Gold Wedding Inspiration at Savoy Event Venue, Markham

June 2015 was a busy month for a lot of wedding professionals and we decided to make it even busier and added an incredibly chic styled shoot to the schedule. Peppermint Weddings produced, coordinated, styled the Gold Rush shoot and put together a team of incredibly talented people. The main colours of the styled wedding shoot were my all time favourite – white and gold. The Savoy Event Venue by Peter and Pauls generously provided its gorgeous banquet room for our creative collaboration. A classic sweetheart table was covered with layered gold and pale gold sequin linens from Linen Closet. Peppermint Weddings brilliantly balanced out an eye-catching sequin with the mirror tabletop, which gave prominence to luxurious gold flatware, glassware, china and chargers from Chairman Mills.

Blu Ivory Bridal, a wonderful place to shop for a perfect wedding gown, a flirty bridesmaid dress, a strikingly beautiful prom outfit or any other jaw-dropping formal wear and accessories, made everyone swoon over the exquisite Ivory over Champagne “Ettia” wedding dress by Maggie Sottero. If you seek that particular Bohemian look for your special day, look no further and just make an appointment at the boutique. Our gorgeous model Paula Kalini of Cashmere Event Staffing looked so graceful and sensual in the gown and the simple yet sparkly headpiece flawlessly accentuated her tasteful hairstyle and ocean deep eyes. The Blushing Beauty team’s 30 years of combined experience truly shone in the sophisticated bridal makeup and hairstyling created for the occasion.

The three-tier white round fondant cake piped with metallic gold royal icing and gold sprinkles was definitely a show stopper, proving again and again that Cakelaine never ceased to amaze its clients. Paperwenches’ classy white & gold wedding invitation suite was a pure representation of the core concept and the colour scheme of the wedding inspiration shoot. Their elegant creations made the whole setting even more harmonious and refined.

Love,

-Eva.

Fairmont Royal York Hotel Fall Wedding Decor, Toronto

October is such an amazing month to celebrate love and commitment: it's not overwhelmingly hot, not teeth-gringingly cold, and the kaleidoscope of fall colours adds this subtle magical vibe to a couple's wedding day. 2015 Thanksgiving weekend truly blessed Torontonians with very pleasant stroll-friendly weather and I was fortunate enough to be invited to photograph Peppermint Weddings' beautiful floral arrangements and decorations at Fairmont Royal York Hotel. The wedding ceremony took place at the airy Upper Canada meeting room and the reception was held at the elegant Imperial Room of the hotel. Peppermint Weddings decorated the ceremony room with the tall flower arrangements containing fluffy white hydrangea, pink spray roses and various green accents in clear vases with gold short sleeves. The main wedding colours were white and pink, so all of the guest tables were covered with dusty rose satin linens and the head table was decorated with a lovely pink satin rosette linen. The couple opted for simple and elegant short centerpieces featuring the same flower combinations as the wedding ceremony's arrangements. The three tier round white fondant cake with pink damask pattern matched the the wedding colour scheme perfectly. The overall wedding setting was topped with the hotel's luxurious decor details, stunning chandeliers, wall-filling mirrors and the cacophony of light! Hope you enjoy the images :)

Love,

-Eva.
