April 30, 2016 was the day when the class of 2016 of Ted Rogers School of Management, Ryerson University, got well-deserved rewards for their hard studying. While Arcadian Court's staff made sure that every little detail was up to their high standards, Peppermint Weddings put together forty beautiful white, tall centerpieces filled with white hydrangeas, golden accents and pearl strings for the fabulous Graduation Gala. The centerpieces perfectly accentuated the enormity of the venue's skyhigh ceilings. I cannot even describe how many cool shapes, lines and textures the location has had and I definitely cannot wait to shoot some inspiring wedding and engagement couple portraits there. But for now, please enjoy some classy white reception decor :)

Arcadian Court Ryerson University Commerce Grad Gala 2016

Event photography is fun and when done for the cause it's not only fun, but also very rewarding. On January 29, 2016, Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital threw a wonderful employee appreciation dinner dance, hosted at Angus Glen Golf Club. Our incredibly talented friends from August in Bloom accentuated elegance of the club's Great Hall with chic the Great Gatsby inspired decor and sweets. Over 200 guests enjoyed some very fine tunes from Wishes & Dreams and had a blast at Linton Co.'s photo booth. The sweet table kindly provided by Sweet Philosophy was my personal favourite. If I could I would have spent hours photographing every exquisite detail of SP's gorgeous edible creations. Berries and Blooms' white hydrangea centerpieces in short clear vases complimented luxurious Linen Closet's black sequin linens. Love Lettering designed one of a kind black & gold menus that tied the main colours and accents of the event together. It has been a night full of kindness, laughs and true appreciation for the courageous people who save and improve the lives of the community every single day.
