Dear readers, let me introduce to you the lovely Karine & Toralt. The wonderful couple from Quebec who got married in Ancaster Mill, Ontario on September 7, 2014. I was honoured to have been chosen to photograph their gorgeous wedding day. Red and white were primary colours of the event: from the bride's glossy burgundy shoes and beautiful red orchid bouquet to ceremony and reception venue decorations. This warm fall day was full of very moving moments and stunning details that brought oh so many tears to my busy eyes. Suffice it to remember: Karine & Toralt's tender thrill, the unity sand ceremony, Karine and her father's dance, hugs and laughs, her twirl, whirl and swirl with flower girls that made red roses on their adorable dresses come to life, absolutely magic waterfall backdrop for formal couple and family portraits, awesome guests jumping passionately and diligently to help me take that one perfect image of the party, delicate pure white cake with orchids and, of course, the ocean of love that enveloped us all on that very special day.

This Liquid Gold wedding inspiration photoshoot took 2 months of active preparation, so I sort of felt like a bride...well, a little. To those of you my dearest brides, who are actually brave, organized enough and have the patience of a saint to plan your big day on your own, hat's off to you! Though putting together a styled wedding shoot is barely as overwhelming as planning a whole wedding, at one point I found myself pretty close to giving up on my precious Pinterest mood board. Everything changed when I met with Zara, a certified wedding coordinator, a very sweet girl who put my mind at ease. We managed to find every wedding vendor needed for the shoot. You cannot believe how many kind, talented and passionate people are out there. The full list of all the wonderful wedding professionals who have made this dream shoot possible is presented below. The dominant colours for the shoot were: gold, white, green (of course) and purple. The beautiful models you can see in the photographs are Rachel & Kevin, a very loving and caring couple who will be saying their I Do's in Mexico in February 2015. My warmest wishes go to them!
