Nottawasaga Inn Resort Spring Wedding: Stephanie & Tyler

On May 22, 2015 I had the honour of documenting a very special day for two incredibly awesome people – Stephanie & Tyler. The couple met through a mutual friend and, of course, Tyler could not help but notice Stephanie’s beauty but it all started with only one talk. The talk that changed their lives forever and made them realize that they would never be able to imagine the lives without each other. Tyler proposed on Christmas Day at family dinner right after Stephanie said Grace before meals. It was a complete surprise to our bride-to-be!

Stephanie was a very thorough bride and planned every major and minor detail far in advance. We shot an early spring engagement session at Humber Bay Park in Toronto last year and just could not wait for the wedding day to come. The anticipation was out of this world! The wedding was huge with over 300 guests invited. The scale of the event still gives me shivers! We started the day at Stephanie's parents where I had the chance to photograph all the sparkly details, including a show stopper bedazzled bridal bouquet, sky high crystal embellished heels and the dress that had an unseen amount of crystal accents and jewels.

A beautiful outdoor ceremony took place at impressive Nottawasaga Inn Resort in Alliston, Ontario. The wedding venue was simply gorgeous with a variety of shooting locations for couple, family and wedding party portraits. Slightly chilly and windy weather just added extra charm and drama to some of the wedding ceremony photos. Thanks to the Mother Nature you can see Stephanie’s sparkly stunning red-soled shoes in full glory. The ceremony was sweet & concise and definitely made everybody tear up.

The wedding reception was held at Destiny Banquet Hall, Woodbridge, Ontario. The reception venue décor was in two gorgeous colours: white & royal blue (and some bling :) ). The six tier fondant creamy-white wedding cake and the custom hand made cake topper were as unique as Stephanie & Tyler. It would take me pages and pages to go over the things that were absolutely wonderful and heart melting on the day and I’d hope that I was able to tell the story as it unfolded on the wedding day in the video that can be found at the end of the post.

Wishing Stephanie, Tyler & their growing family lots of happiness, joy and laughter! Thank you again for choosing me to photograph your unbelievably sweet and cool wedding day!

 Let’s live, let’s love! “To infinity & beyond”… ;)

Love,

-Eva.

Maple Banquet Hall Mississauga Spring Wedding: Ria & Brian

On May 16, 2015, I officially started my 2015 wedding photography season! It has been a very warm start and I am so incredibly thankful to my amazing couple, Ria & Brian, for allowing me to document their life event.  Ria & Brian is every photographer's dream couple. They balance each other perfectly and I do not mean to sound cheesy, but yes, they have one very important thing in common - tremendous love for each other, their family and friends. Ria & Brian actually got married last year in Jamaica but it did not stop them from putting together a beautiful local celebration for the loved ones a year later. The coverage began with the bridal and groom preparation at Ria's sister's cozy house. The bride wore an absolutely stunning off-white gown from David's Bridal and the groom rocked a Calvin Klein attire. Every wedding detail incorporated two main colours of the wedding reception: Tiffany blue and white. The bridal bouquet consisted of white with a little bit of creamy tones classic roses and light blue hydrangeas with a touch of bling. Ria took care of all the floral and decor arrangements at the Princess Lounge of a spacious Maple Banquet Hall in Mississauga, Ontario.  A marine-themed three tier fondant wedding cake was such a cute reference to the couple's destination wedding ceremony. Wedding favours also had a nautical touch - engraved wine glasses with a navy blue nautical cross kept catching my photographic eye and I probably took 20 photos of them from every angle possible.

Despite my overwhelming love for wedding details and their undeniable ability to set the tone of a couple's important day, that is not what makes a life & love celebration special. Precious moments that make your heart sing - They make the day unforgettable: it's the smile that brightens up the bride's beautiful face as she gets her hair adjusted by the mother's caring hands; it's those extra big and tight hugs the bride gives to her awesome wedding guest who flew from the other side of the world to congratulate newlyweds in person; it's crazy dances that make everyone feel alive; it's the time that the bride and groom spend with the people who matter...

Let's live, let's love, let's celebrate life!

Love,

-Eva.
